Aaron L. Smith is the Founder of Pecora Capital and a seasoned financial services executive with more than two decades of global experience managing regulated investment businesses across the United States, Europe, and Asia. He leads Pecora Capital with a focus on disciplined investment management, proprietary research, and long-term capital preservation.

Aaron began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he marketed debt syndicate products to institutional and high-net-worth investors. He later served as Managing Director of Superfund Group, a multi-billion-dollar systematic CTA, before founding Pecora Capital in 2012.

In addition to his work in investment management, Aaron is the author of Meditations of a Hedge Fund Manager: Inspired Insights on Purpose & Prosperity, reflecting his broader perspective on leadership, markets, purpose, and disciplined capital stewardship.

Aaron earned his degree in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
